Welcome to our website. Many businesses have unique stories of their beginnings. Well, I hope you enjoy reading of our beginning. This is how Sue and Bobby Larson began It's A Wrap Jewelry business.
Sue's father, Mike Stapleton has been tumbling rocks and stones for years. He tried to interest our son many years ago but to no avail. One day a few years back Mike was visiting with us he showed us some unique looking stones he had tumbled (these were mostly driveway rocks). Sue, being an artistic person, began to think of a way that they could turn these stones into beautiful pendants/necklaces. We began to work with the stones and soon found what we liked. We started acquiring gemstone rocks and tumbling them while learning wire wrap techniques. We soon began to show them around to friends, family, coworkers and before you know it a hobby has become a small business.
We design each wire wrapped and wire jewelry piece. Each one is hand wrapped and hand decorated. Many of our pendants are made with semi precious stones that we tumble and polish. Some pendants are made with a semi precious gemstone bead that we aquire because of their shape and color beauty. The Fleur De Lis Pendants are our signature pendants and they are made from a black onyx stone and a crystalized marble stone we call a mountain jade. The Fleur De Lis Pendants are available in gold or silver. We also have designed a Mardi Gras Wrap and a Tiger Wrap pendant for a local flair. All pendants and bracelets are hand wire wrapped and each one is unique and different. In our progression of introducing new products we have designed a line of wire aluminum jewelry. Aluminum is unique in that it doesn't turn or tarnish and is light weight. Another unique item we have added is our hand wire wrapped oyster jewelry necklaces.
